The next Bidding in The 21^st Century Series Beginner/Refresher Course is starting on Saturday Sept. 4^th at the Halina Centre from 9am – 11am.

The course consists of 9 lessons and will end on November 6^th. (there is no lesson on September 25^th) 

The cost is $100 which includes a $20 text book. The text is the ‘Audrey Grant Club Series”.

There will also be a Bidding in The 21^st Century Series Beginner/Refresher Course starting Jan 8^th through March 5^th 2011.

If you are a former student you may take a refresher drop-in class for the cost of $5.00 per lesson. The topics covered are as follows:

Lesson 1: Getting Started & Opening the Bidding

Lesson 2: Responses to 1NT Opening Bids

Lesson 3: The Stayman Convention

Lesson 4: Responses to Opening Bids of One In a Suit

Lesson 5: Rebids by Opener

Lesson 7: Overcalls and Bids by the Advancer

Lesson 8: Takeout Doubles and Responses

Lesson 9: Strong Opening Bids

Intermediate Lessons

Intermediate bridge lessons are resuming.  There will be a lesson on Friday September 3^rd at the Halina Centre at 3:00 - 5:30 pm.

The topic is Strong Bids and Responses by Carol-Ann.

The Learning Game

The Thursday morning learning game resume September 2^nd at the Halina Centre from 10 am – 12 pm. There is a short lesson hand.

Then we play the Tuesday duplicate boards. You don’t need a partner; you can ask questions, consult your notes and change your mind.
